Dr. Jessica Wu is behind many a great-looking face in Hollywood; Katherine Heigl, Maria Bello, and Lisa Ling are just a few. Now she's written a book called Feed Your Face sharing her skin and beauty expertise. Fan and client Kimora Lee Simmons — who's set to launch her own anti-aging skincare line — recently hosted an event at Montage Beverly Hills to celebrate Dr. Wu and her first book. I got a chance to speak with the skin guru about where she goes to get gorgeous in LA. Here's how to follow in her beauteous footsteps.

  • Cle de Peau counter at Barneys Beverly Hills (9570 Wilshire Blvd., Beverly Hills, 310-276-4400) "The concealer in ochre is my desert island beauty product. Of course, I can’t walk away without getting yet another shade of the extra silky lipstick. It makes my lips soft and smooth, and stays put, even when I’m seeing patients and doing surgeries all day."
  • CVS on San Vicente in Brentwood (11941 San Vicente Blvd., Brentwood, 310-440-4160). "Where I go to pick up emergency supplies of mascara and lip gloss, along with Olay daily facials wipes and Elnett hairspray."
  • LuxeLab Salon (1408 Montana Ave., Santa Monica, 310-255-9900) "Phayvanh is a genius with the blowdryer — my blowouts last three days, even after wearing my motorcycle helmet. Plus, this is where I pick up Oribe dry texturizing spray.
  • The Goddess of Skin (310-420-2703) "As a super busy medical doctor, I don’t have a lot of time for facials, plus I’m a real skeptic. However, after one meridian facial with Dayle, my skin looked softer, smoother, and lifted."
  • "Whole Foods (2201 Wilshire Blvd., Santa Monica, 310-315-0662) in Santa Monica is where I pick up my skin-friendly snacks: Yumnuts cashews, Justin’s Nut Butters, and turkey meatballs in marinara sauce. Plus I love that in 2011 they're cracking down on beauty manufacturers that claim their product is 'organic' and requiring them to be USDA certified."
