There's always been an air of mystery about Chateau Marmont (8221 Sunset Blvd., West Hollywood, 323-210-3125). Getting inside isn't easy — as soon as you pull up to valet, they ask you what event or purpose you're there for — and you constantly see A-list stars like Lady Gaga, Kate Bosworth, and Robert Pattinson coming out of its doors late at night. Rachel Zoe even told me it's a home away from home. But soon, the masses will be able to get a closer look inside the hotel, since it's the subject of an upcoming HBO miniseries starring John Krasinski. It's surprisingly humble looking, which I like, actually. I can see why so many people end up moving in!
