If, like me, you have younger cousins who are more into YouTube than homework, you would probably recognize Elle and Blair Fowler if you saw them strutting down the street. That's what happened when I bumped into them at the Lucky Shops event last month. The sisters — Elle, far left, is 23, and Blair is 18 — who are originally from Tennessee, started making beauty how-to videos in the Summer of 2008 and have since gathered millions of followers on their respective channels: JuicyStar07 and AllThatGlitters21.

They can create their videos from anywhere, so both recently made the move to LA since they were coming once a month anyway. "There are so many areas that are amazing to live in. We looked all over, from Santa Monica, Venice, West Hollywood, Beverly Hills, Culver City, and even downtown," Blair told me. During our chat, they also revealed where in LA they get their beauty — and food and shopping — on.

PSLA: Where in LA do you hit up for your beauty fix?
Elle Fowler: The Beverly Center (8500 Beverly Blvd., 310-854-0070). It has everything — MAC, Sephora, and every counter you can think of.

Blair Fowler: Nordstrom at The Grove (189 The Grove Dr., Ste. P 80, 323-930-2230) has an awesome makeup selection, and Ulta (7100 Santa Monica Blvd., West Hollywood, 323-878-2524) on Santa Monica Blvd. and La Brea is one of the top places I'm venturing out to. My favorite Lush (1404 Third Street Promenade, Santa Monica, 310-255-0030) out here would have to be the one at the Santa Monica Promenade; the staff is so nice and they always have everything in stock. Oh, and I love Drybar. It's a treat for Elle and I about once a month or before an event.

To find out where else Elle and Blair hang out, .

PSLA: When you’re not busy making fun YouTube videos, where can we find you two eating and shopping?
BF: I think we've tried every restaurant at The Grove (189 The Grove Dr., 323-900-8080), and we're working our way through the various cuisines in the Farmers Market (6333 W. 3rd St., 323-933-9211). Pinkberry and Yogurtland are probably my favorite after dinner sweet-treat. Katsuya (6300 Hollywood Blvd., 323-871-8777) seems so cliche to say, but the food is amazing! We've been there quite a few times.

EF: We also love all the unique boutiques around this area. We have also found a recent love for vintage stores. Polkadots & Moonbeams (8381 W. 3rd St., 323-651-1746) is one of our favorites.

PSLA: Finish this sentence: I heart LA because . . .
EF: of the weather! I seriously think it makes everyone out here a little more happy. It makes me want to be outside more and get more done! Sunshine is nature’s motivator.

BF: I heart LA because of the possibilities!
