Fig & Olive Debuts New Outdoor Cafe, Lunch, and Weekend Jazz Brunch
Just in time for Spring, the newly opened Fig & Olive (8490 Melrose Pl., West Hollywood, 310-360-9100) has announced some exciting additions to its already stellar service. Now its love affair with olive oil is being carried over to the new lunch menu — offered Monday through Friday 11:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. — featuring mouth-watering Mediterranean branzino with figs and snow peas, glazed with fig and 18-year balsamic vinegars and Koroneiki olive oil; and lamb oregano panini with tomato, cucumber, red onion, and Greek yogurt, served with Mediterranean fries. Take your tasty bites and eat them at the just opened outdoor cafe-bakery, which will soon also offer specialty baked goods, sandwiches, and salads to go.
For a hot new brunch option, Fig & Olive is launching its first weekend jazz brunch this Saturday, March 26. After that, brunch will be offered Saturdays and Sundays from 11:30 a.m. to 3 p.m., with live jazz on Sundays. Listen to smooth tunes from various artists while indulging in fig and walnut pancakes and South of France poached eggs with marinated salmon.
