Let's keep it real: most Angelenos, whether they've been living here all their lives or just a few years, have never taken public transportation. And why would we, right? People take their cars even if they're just grabbing coffee down the street. Well I've found a good excuse to start getting to know LA's transit system. Along with Earth Month, April is Distracted Driving Awareness Month. Translation: CHP is cracking down hard on those who use their cell phones while driving. Since there is zero tolerance this month — and since we all know how hard it is to be apart from your iPhone for more than a minute — let's use some of our city's buses to get around in town and out of town. Allow me to be your guide.
