For all those with nieces and nephews or children, this one's for you. Diana Ross's youngest daughter, Chudney — pictured here with her mom — officially opened the doors of her new store, Books and Cookies (2230 Main St., Santa Monica, 310-362-3103), today. I stopped by the grand opening celebration on Saturday, along with actress Kim Raver and the entire Ross clan, including Diana, Tracee Ellis, and Evan, to see what it was all about. The store is primarily for kids, but it's also cool enough for adults to hang in. While your little one reads books and plays, you can grab a cup of coffee and grownup bagels like the one with hummus, avocado, tomato, and red onions, and relax in the cafe section. Kids can also enjoy minibagels, sandwiches, and, of course, an assortment of cookies. Click through for a tour of the store, then take your tiny friend the next time you're on babysitting duty.
