Like Sharon Osbourne's decorator Martyn Lawrence Bullard, LA home decor guru Nathan Turner has become a household name thanks to Bravo's new reality show Million Dollar Decorators. But he's long been known and loved in the interior design world by high-profile clients like Adrian Grenier — "We did a platinum-certified green house for him. I learned so much about that kind of decorating" — Marcia Cross, and Amanda Peet, whose house he's working on at the moment. Turner opened his namesake store (636 N. Almont Dr., 310-275-1209) nine years ago when he didn't have much experience, but one thing he was sure of was his own aesthetic and what he wanted his store to look like. "I just really enjoyed the whole process of the antiques world. Going abroad to France and Italy and Belgium and Istanbul and finding things and bringing them back and selling them and creating a whole aesthetic," he shares. The store will be moving to a new location soon, so stay tuned for more into, but in the meantime, click through for a tour of his current space. Then pop in to see and shop it all for yourself.
