Pictures of Tommy Hilfiger's Prep World Pop-Up Shop at The Grove

Tommy Hilfiger has been on a whirlwind world tour promoting his new line Prep World, but he's felt right at home all along. That's because the pop-up boutique is housed inside . . . well, a mini house really. It has already settled down in New York City and Paris, and now it's making its first and only debut in California at The Grove (189 The Grove Dr., 323-900-8080). "We wanted a place where there was foot traffic," Tommy told me. "We couldn't move The Ivy and put it there. We needed space so this is the perfect location." Starting tomorrow, you can experience and get a piece of Hilfiger's world right here in LA. The pop-up shop — which sells both Prep World and vintage items, and inexpensive accessories — is only in LA for three days, so don't you lag. "It's very exclusive. It's merchandise you can't find anywhere else, maybe in one or two of our flagship stores, so we wanted to be a little fun surprise and then move on," the designer said.
