Rodarte Gowns at LACMA (Pictures)

LACMA (5905 Wilshire Blvd., 323-857-6000) and Rodarte clearly have a thing for one another. Back in March, the museum displayed Rodarte: States of Matter, which ended in June. Now, starting Dec. 17 and going through Feb. 5, LACMA is presenting an exquisite gown collection titled "Rodarte: Fra Angelico Collection." So who's Fra Angelico and what does he have to do with this? Designers Kate and Laura Mulleavy created 10 Spring/Summer 2012 couture gowns inspired by frescos painted by the Italian renaissance artist.
